RUN IDYLLWILD!

DISCOVER IDYLLWILD
Make a special weekend by joining us for a picturesque run or walk through scenic courses in the mountain village of Idyllwild. (See map, below.)
Enjoy unique restaurants - simple to gourmet. Have lunch in the village or in the forest and then go shopping in quaint stores, boutiques or browse through a variety of art galleries. You can even catch a first run movie at the Rustic Theatre if the fresh air, lilacs, azaleas, daffodils and other spring flowers are just too overwhelming!
And if you've still got energy after your run, Idyllwild is surrounded by hiking trails, some of the best rock climbing in the U. S. and miles of mountain bike terrain . You can even go fishing at nearby lakes.
AWARDS AND PRIZES
The top male and female finishers overall in the 5K & 10K runs will receive special awards and custom medallions, as will the top overall male and female competitors in the fitness walk. All kids in the half-mile fun run will receive an award at the finish line. All entrants are eligible for great prizes selected by random drawings!

LONG-SLEEVE T-SHIRTS
Now an Idyllwild tradition, this year's edition will include another nature and wildlife theme on a high quality long-sleeve T-shirt.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST - FRUIT YOGURT AND GRANOLA
The post-race awards ceremony will feature a pancake breakfast & other goodies presented by the Idyllwild PTA at the Town Hall from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. Only $7 for adults and $4 for children under twelve. Tickets may be purchased day-of-race or at the packet pick-up and registration Friday night before the race. Proceeds benefit the Idyllwild School PTA program.
REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP
Register or pick up your race packet including t-shirt and bib number race morning from 6:15 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. or at the Totem Pole Monument in the Idyllwild Town Center on Friday evening, June 6th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Idyllwild Race Committee has given over $6,000.00 to Holly Guntermann at the Idyllwild School to purchase a scoreboard and climbing wall for the new gymnasium in recent years as well as for the purchase of PE equipment, helped grass the top field, bought athletic uniforms, a VCR and video camera (for instructional feedback). Thank you to all participants that helped make this all possible.
